Brutal DOOM is a gore/gameplay mod for both Skulltag and GZDoom. This mod allows you to perform headshots. The Assault Rifle will only perform a minor headshot but the SSG or Minigun will completely blow up their heads. You can cut your enemies in half at the waist with the Chainsaw or decapitate them by cutting their necks to remove their heads. You can still gib Zombies and Imps but you can shoot a rocket near them and you will eliminate them. Also there are 'XDeath' states for bigger enemies such as the Baron of Hell or the Mancubus. You can carbonize enemies with your Plasma Rifle or you can shoot a Zombie or Imp with the BFG and completely melt their skin off to leave their skeleton.
